Dose: Med Tracker & Reminder · Last updated: 28 June 2026

Dose ("the app", "we", "us") is a medication tracking and reminder app. This policy explains what information the app handles and how. The short version: Dose is designed to keep your health information on your device. We do not run ad networks, we do not sell your data, and we do not track you across apps or the web.

Information stored on your device

The medications, schedules, dose history, adherence records, and notes you enter are stored locally on your device using Apple's on-device storage. This information is not transmitted to us or to any server as part of normal use, and we cannot access it. If you delete the app, this data is removed from your device.

The optional AI assist feature

Dose offers an optional feature that can read medication details from text you type or from a photo of a label, to help you fill in a new medication entry. This feature only runs when you choose to use it.

If you never use the AI assist feature, no medication information leaves your device.

Subscriptions

Dose offers optional paid subscriptions. Purchases and subscription management are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment details (such as card numbers). Apple shares limited subscription status with the app so it can unlock paid features. Apple's handling of purchase data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

Information we do not collect

Apple may provide us with aggregate, anonymous crash and usage statistics through its standard App Store and TestFlight tools if you have opted in to sharing analytics with developers in your device settings. This information is not personally identifying.

Notifications

Dose schedules medication reminders as local notifications on your device. These are generated on your device and are not sent through our servers.

Children's privacy

Dose is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your control over your data

Because your records are stored on your device, you are in control of them. You can edit or delete individual medications and history within the app, and deleting the app removes the locally stored data from your device.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app changes. We will update the "Last updated" date above when we do.
